Sutradara J.J. Abrams dan Alfonso Cuaron serta aktor STAR TREK Chris Pine mengumumkan nominasi lengkap untuk Academy Awards 2015 ke-87. Ketiganya bersama-sama membacakan siapa saja yang berhasil menjadi calon pemenang Oscar. Ajang ini sendiri akan dilaksanakan pada 22 Februari mendatang di Hollywood's Dolby Theater. Acara yang akan dipandu oleh Neil Patrick Harris itu nantinya akan ditayangkan di lebih 225 negara.
